Description
These are my Various Attempts to depict the many glorious creations of Emily Rodda in her book series 'Deltora Quest.'

As far as I was concerned, the Fear had a shell attached to the rocky wall, making it basically a living fossil, so I designed it with a Nautilus in mind. Octopuses have weird eyes, so this thing has very weird eyes. There's also a sense that it's almost spilling out of it's shell. This thing really let itself go since the days when it would actually have to move in order to eat. Now it's like a deadbeat sitting on a couch next to the kitchen, and someone occasionally tosses a bag on chips through the door.
