Description
"Moonlight and Cretaceous Fairy Tail" - yes, there's a word gameAnother famous "four-wings", Microraptor gui. A bit of a Mesozoic fairy, isn't it?
I've drawn that piece while the Iraq War was beginning, and I worked again a bit on it today.
And YES, THE PALEOARTIST IS FREE TO REACT AGAINST THE STUPIDITY & THE ABSURDITY OF HUMAN WARS IN AN ARTISTIC WAY, WITH LOVE AND POETRY!
Nevermind. It's done, commented and uploaded, and all is signed - ASPIDEL.
EDIT: Here's an awesome photo of the real thing. The snout is fake and should be longer: [link]
But this aside, it's the best ref you can find for Microraptor gui.
(and a good way for me to save the URL so it's easy to forward it to who needs this photo)

Its like those clasic sci-fi styled illustrations where they pressed the pencil down all over the place, really neat-o!

well, come on, yes they are, compared to much artwork I see on DA. Of course yours is more a comic style, but yet well detailed.

It's a very nice picture, one of the better dino pictures I've seen.
Reminds me quite a bit about an old game called Lost Eden, actually, where dinosaurs and humans lived together more or less in harmony.

Really? You remember Lost Eden?
The game itself was not that good, but I very much loved the quirky pteranodon narrator, and the music was simply superb. I still am looking for the soundtrack to it.

Uh, nope, not the video games cuz I don't play video games. But the idea of the piece was about harmony, yeah.

Your artwork is impeccable, and inspired. You have a gift for art, as I have for the written word. Don't ever lose your pencils, and you're very welcome.

You have some serious talent. It's saddening to see that you're abandoning your account, though I'm sure you have your reasons. I wish I could see more of your art, though.

Astounding, simply astounding. The fact that it's not done on scratchboard is also a little... How should I put it? It's hard to fathom, I suppose. I can only imagine how much time and devotion went into this piece(not that your other pieces were left neglected.)
Favored by me, anyway.

How can I describe the emotion that is here in this picture?
Dinosaurs can teach human how to love.... *feels poetic*
I cannot describe with any words the way I feel looking at this, so I fill just this ^_-.

Nope, it's pencil on Bristol paper. And scanner settings. And 2 hours PSP for " normal" effects.
