Don't avoid your childhood fears, They miss you when your gone.If you don't recognize this screen don't feel bad. Sadly I haven't met too many who have seen let alone remember House, and I ain't talking about the TV Medical Drama.
The 1986 film House. Its about a Vietnam vet trying to write his war memoirs and moves into to his recently inherited family House. Once there he starts to have hallucinations and soon realizes that the House is haunted and toying with his fears and self doubt. I'd recommend it for a rental its a pretty unique gem in the Haunted House sub genre, but its not for everybody.

Yes, but in House II the only notable connection to the original is having the same writer and another haunted house. I think House II is still kinda of enjoyable despite having no connection to the original mainly because the same sort of humor as the first film is still present despite it lacking in actual horror.

I agree with you. There is a Japanese movie called House as well. It's really quite strange and psychedelic.
