Couldn't resist with the name... so forced, but... apples!

I keep making Applejack as human knight haha, this is #3, although a pretty different direction for her outfit, aside from some elements I took from my previous piece "Knight for Apples"

Due to the higher complexity of the outfit and designing it on the go, I ended up with more time spend on that and a bit less time spend on shading and refining relative to it. I also had to figure out human faces for a bit... but I think it worked out. It's fun practising them... if they work out haha. I wasn't sure how stylistic or realistic I wanted to go. Ended up making a couple random faces in my sketchbook before going with her final face approach. Partially also to warm up.

It was fun making a bit more complex outfit, although I gotta optimize my shading approach for this. I did work in greyscale... might've been easier directly in colour, but I did that because the previous AJ knights were done that way heh. Either way, I do want to do more outfit designing again, along with dynamic poses, scenes, etc. Something I felt I lowered on over the last years, so I want to bring that back up front again.

Either way, hope y'all enjoy a little human! Maybe some day I will finally also make some of the other mane 6 haha. Maybe.
