This episode heh. That was quite a sudden introduction to an entire family right at the beginning of the episode! That inclusion of Rainbow Dash, though, bwhahaha. The horse sounds, the reactions. Oh my gosh.
But the brother, some of his action were a bit over the line for me. Destroying other folk's stuff?! No... just no, c'mon, Zephyr plz. That hurt my feelings right there, the poor voices of the parents.
Aside from that, the rest of his behaviour can definitely make you peeved. But like was shown, that can be a protective shell to a deeper problem or issue. One that needed to be addressed. And the thing is, it's small steps that make it happen. Just like with many lessons, take small steps, keep moving forward, keep improving yourself. It's different for everyone, and everyone handles stuff in different ways, but there's almost always still a good valuable character underneath. Just needs some effort to reveal.
Overall, an interesting episode, little fun background details revealed, from the house, to the family, and little other Easter eggs.
Also, I don't upload a lot of Fluttershy pieces, so I wanted to at least include her. Winged the style a bit, though, but I partially referenced an older piece Apple Coated
Looking at how "fast" I finished this, I did feel like I didn't work as clean as I could, but heh... I guess it's one of those days?
Either way, hope y'all enjoyed this little adventure with little ponies again!

I love your style! Ahhh! Its so cute!
The smooth lines really add to the realistic vibe you're putting off. The characters you draw are all so detailed, and the backgrounds give off an 'hey i still care about how the background looks'. You are amazing. One thing to add though, your hair seems to have quite a bit of shine compared to the fur. Dile down on the shining, or add a bit more on the fur. Just a little request though, dont take it seriously.
Anyway, I love this drawing too, its adorable. I hope what I said is encouraging. Keep up the good work!

I like the way that you did shading and lighting, I think it's a really good characteristic to the whole concept and pice overall, the most uplifting part to me is the fact that it almost seems that fluttershy is stareing at the camera in a "really?" way it made me laugh a bit. i also think that the colt to the right, sorry I forgot his name, is really proud of his work.
The part I think you could improve on is the fact that none of her animals are around, and the skin of the ponys seems like plastic, I think with the lighting you could fade it out and put it on the rim of the nose to give the illusion of a wet nose such as it is with most animals, you might even at a slightly furry texture to it to see it has a coat of fur.
Overall I think this is a really good pice, and I really appreciate the amount of time put in to it, such devotion to art.

This is an opinion i dont like how zephur just got cocky and doucey after the events in flutterbrutter IT sucks okay i hate zephur enough now this just crossed my line!!!!!!! Even fluttershy beleves me!!!!!!! i shall not acept sutch pangentry!!!!!!
the art is good but not the meaning behind it I give this 3 stars out of five im un happy with the meaning, zephur's face,and there is mass amouts of cokienes. I love the art but omg im tired of zephur can Lauren make him nicer to fluttershy and her parents im unhappy with zephur even more now!!!!!!!!!!

One aspect that I like about this piece is the lighting and shadowing. The way that the shadow is under their heads perfectly indicates where the light is shining from. I also love how you blurred out the background, that way, we can focus on the main subjects. What I especially love about this illustration is how much it tells you about "Flutter Brutter". If you never watched the episode, this picture would be a fantastic way to fill you in on what happened. Just from this picture alone, I can tell that it's about Fluttershy's brother who is charming, charismatic, but tends to be a bit lazy and hard to handle. It also helps that Fluttershy is looking at him stubbornly, implying that the conflict arises from some shenanigan her brother causes. This picture is so informative, that it could make for a great title card! Just add some text and voila! I don't really have any criticisms to give on this illustration. I guess I would say that Zephyr's five o'clock could be darkened a bit more, and that the fact that it's based on an episode detracts from the originality, but that's real all I can think of. All in all, it's a fine piece. It's funny, it has nice texture and coloring, and it lets you know what your in for if you watch "Flutter Brutter". Keep up the tremendous work, AssasinMonkey!

I personally really loved this episode. It focused alot on not people without jobs who are forced to live with their families. Because of this, it showed how people without homes of their own who have to live with their mother and father and/or siblings, will sometimes treat someone else's house as their own. Sometimes, they take away that property of their relatives and replace it with their items. And eventually, when that person does find a job, they can afford their own place. I also really liked how Zepher Breeze was hitting on Rainbow Dash. Those were the best parts

Where should I start ?
We obviously see that you put a lot of work into this, and I have to say, it isn't every day that I see this kind of dexterity and expertise.
My favourite part about this must be the colours, everything just goes so well together, the shadings and depth are very well done and everything is very harmonic.
The expressions, the poses, each very detailed, with its own style. I particularly like the contrast between Fluttershy's expression and colours and Zephyr's, it really goes well together.
I also really like the background, you really captured what was in the show and recreated it perfectly. And man, I could stare into those beautifully crafted cyan eyes forever (Great job with this).
Overall, it is a very well made creation, with good harmony, great design, amazing technique and very good attention to details.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.

I'm gonna be honest here; it was about dang time they introduced Fluttershy's family to us. It took literally FIVE FRIGGIN SEASONS, but they FINALLY did it. Why it took them that long, I'll probably never know. 😑
