Bumble had experienced something really strange today during a pep-rally for the upcoming water funneling up to Cloudsdale. Something he wasn't sure he could even participate in with his poor flying skills but still worth taking part of the excitment for it.
The said strange experience though happened just as the crowd was cheering. Bumble who often got told to quiet down when he started getting excited suddenly found himself almost overpowered by the white muscle packet of a pony that had stood next to him.
When noticing their similar volume the both of them abruptly stopped to look at eachother. He remembered having felt a strange connection to this, for him, otherwise unknown stallion, like a sudden kinship.

The two of them had then laughed the whole thing off and had a great chat after the meeting. Apparently his name was Bulk Biceps, and he had worked as a personal trainer uo in Cloudsdale for some years before deciding to eventually return to his roots back in Ponyville.

Bumble found it strange how he somehow felt like he had heard that story before, but from someone else. That's when Bulk had mentioned knowing his parents and he felt the pieces somewhat fall into place, but not quite enough for him.

As Bumble stepped inside the cottage he shouted out a loud
"Is anyone home?"

Fluttershy's much softer tone answered him and he followed it into the living room. There she sat in the middle of the room, knitting something that looked like another scarf for one of the animals. She turned to face him shortlly and gave him a warm smile.

"Did you have fun at the pep-rally?" she asked as she turned back to her knitting.

"Oh yeah, it was really cool seeing everyone in such high spirits again. And I met this old friend of yours there, Bulk Biceps"

Fluttershy seemed to stiffen at the mention of the name.

"Bulk? Oh well I don't know any Bulk, must be a friend of your father's"

Bumble's ears perked up. Was she... lying?
His mother had always been a terrible liar for as long as he could remember and it wasn't hard seeing through her act.

"He is quite hard to miss. White pegasus, tiny wings, built like a freight train. Ring any bell?"

"Nope, no bells" Fluttershy was quick to answer and then proceeded to get up from her seat. "well I should probably go to bed now soon anyway. Its been a long day!"

Bumble grabbed her swiftly and spun her around to face him, pressing his muzzle against hers as he stared her down.

"Okay mom, spill the beans!"

Taken a back Fluttershy continued less assured this time.

"I don't know what beans you are takling about"

"Spiiiiill eeeem'"

With a deep sigh Fluttershy admitted defeat.

"Alright... but I think you need to sit down first"

Okay so yeah sorry for the tease but in the middle of drawing this I came up with the perfect actual scene for this whole reveal thing ^^
so no worries its the next pic I will be uploading, I promise.

But now I need to head to bed.
