Description Conversation with myself:
"Hey I should put a background on this picture! Yeah great idea me! You can get some practice at doing those, since you've been avoiding them for years... Shhhhh."

(omg this background sucks)

So yes, if you haven't figured it out though, that is my Vampire batpony character, but before his unfortunate transformation.

I was thinking up a backstory for Count (well so was GhostQuill but the're basically the same except for some key points) and I came up with him previously being a Captain of King Sombra's guards.

Just a quick summary of what happened.

He was a pegasus, and one of the more well liked Captains because he cared about the prisoners well being. Through a sceme from someone who hated him, he was framed with treason against the King. They captured his family and him, he managed to escape but his family was hanged. Over come with hatred and grief while on the run from numerous guards, he comes across a strange zebra who offers to help him gain power enough to destroy those who wronged him. He agrees instantly and the zebra grants him with immortality. With his newfound strength he runs off the seek his revenge.
(Now inside the castle and having found the one who framed him).
As he's just about the rid the world of the one who destroyed his life sunlight storms the room he is now in and he finds that it burns. Quickly finding shelter, his foe takes his chance and runs off. Looking over from the shadows he spots King Sombra being fought by two unknown figures. The Sun beam now gone he quickly runs off in pursuit of his target. Thinking that maybe he has fled outside of the city he leaves it's boarders. He searches the surounding country side but turns and watches as the two strangers defeat Sombra and the entire city disappears before his eyes.
Lost and angry he searches for the zebra that did this to him. He instead finds the zebra's home but torn and broken. Books and objects were scattered everywhere. He decides to try and find the spell which did this to him. When he finds it, he discovers that he was turned into a vampire.
Distraught he hides himself away in the wilderness for centuries, after this he finally decides to see the world again, collecting a large fortune through various methods he names himself a Count, finds an abondoned castle to live in and works on trying to get back out into the world.

Then somewhere here he'd go to Ponyville or something, finally see Princess Celestia and start having the biggest crush on her.

I'm not much of a writer so if some of it isn't worded correctly thats why.

Did he ever catch the motherbucker who framed him and caused his family to be hanged ?

Who is that zebra ? Why was his (her ?) house completely asunder when [insert the captain's names here] arrived there ?

What time is it ?

Poor little guy, he just can't seem to win! Some one needs to make him a pie to make him feel better. Anyways, I thought the background was rad. It convaded the chaos in the story very nicely.

Well to be honest the background could be worse. Anyways the character looks interesting and the backstory is interesting as well.
