Description A couple of you guys have asked if I could make a "How to Draw Ponies" so I thought, heck! Why not?
Now I dunno if I'm the best at writing a how to, but I think you will get the gist of it.

I didn't focus on expressions in this, maybe I'll do an expressions one but I'm not sure, because I want people to learn to draw in their own style. I don't want them to just flat out copy my style. I mean I did learn by copying others when I was starting out, but I was always so afraid of "stealing" their art I justΒ tried really hard to try and create my own. But I digress...

I have a couple of other help sheets aswell I'm going to upload.

If you have any ideas for some more tutorials I could do then just tell me.

adding you to my watch list, you seem to have a good grasp on the drawing techniques, but from your description, you come across as someone who gives critiques in a way that supports other styles, rather than saying (intentionally or no) that "if you want to be good...you'll do exactly as I do", which is where I run into problems when I ask for critiques of my own work. Also, love your work on PotO and other classics. Happy 2019.

WellΒ I drew this using photoshop elements 7 (but I've recently moved on to using photoshop CS6) for this but, neither are cheap.

Im still slightly confused on where you would start the guideline for the body…also do the bottom of the eyes start above the guideline for the face or below?

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I sometimes have trouble understanding things right away…maybe it's because I have a "bit" of a perfectionist problem or my mind learns something's differently. I don't know, but sorry if I'm asking too much.

Ok, I've got the eyes down, it looks pretty cute right now! Only problem is I can't get the ears down right, they always end up uneven, not matching, or misshapen. Any pointers?

I use Photoshop Elements 7 and a Wacom tablet.
Though I've been told that my photoshop is mainly used for photography but I got it years ago and just never changed.
