Description Ta Da!

So yeah ,while I'm sitting around waiting for my sis to finish colouring on my other computer I decided to spend a bit of time doodling ponies for ya'll.
I think I've gotten a lot better at drawing stallions these days, looking back at some of my earlier stuff they look ridiculous. (Looking at you Dr Wooves from 'Hello my Ditzy, Hello my Derpy' I got so many comments about how he looked like a duck.)

I don't know how helpful this will be but you asked if I could and I felt like making another so, here ya go!

How did you make such a progression since your first ever uploaded arts? ;-;

5 years is a long time and I drew a ridiculous amount of drawings in that time period. As they say, practice makes perfect
(And when I say a lot, I mean a lot: when I was a kid I used to got through art books like crazy).

Shall I give up then? I personally think that without too shiny artistic past and no serious coach I'll not reach the same level as you did. ;v;

Hey never say things like that, the second you start believing that then of course you won't become a good artist because you'll have given up before even trying.

I was a self taught artist nobody gave me the answers I just kept drawing terrible drawings, I didn't know they were terrible at the time but when I did get to an age where I became self conscious of my art and my abilities I used to hate it, but it never stopped me. Sure I may have avoided somethings like humans for awhile, but I went back. I just kept telling myself that this drawing may look bad now but the next one is only going to be better.

In art all you can do is improve.

An artist? Isn't too late to become one? I think true artists are those who early were involved in drawing as children..

Sadly, at the age of mine and many circumstances around me, my self-criticism were reached high level, and that doesn't let me think positively about any my work.
Besides, a lot of uncertainties and doubtfulnesses make me feel that each next drawing might not be good, beacuse I don't know if my workflow is correct at some point..

As I say, with no other people I just can dream of accomplishments. :v

"I think true artists are those who early were involved in drawing as children"  Well that's bull and you know it. Art, like any skill is learnt through practice and hard work and excuses like that are the only reason you won't become an artist. None of this early childhood nonsense.
My sister is 20 soon (2 weeks away) and has only been drawing for 1-2 years now and look at how she's improved. And she's had to suffer with loads of self esteem issues involving art because she's had to constantly look over her shoulder and deal with the fact that my art is better than hers, it's just a fact and I'm not being rude, I've been drawing for 11 years now and of course her art isn't going to be as good as mine, she knows this and understands this. (but you know art is subjective so there's all that mumbo jumbo and Sis when you read this I'm not saying your art is bad or that my art is better even though I did say that I'm just saying I understand art techniques better than you)

AND I would like to point out that I don't teach her, I'm a terrible teacher, I may give her a pointer every blue moon but these instances are few and far between (most of the time she's too self conscious about her art to even show me her work until it's done.)

Also my twin up there^^ told me that she hated just about every drawing she drew, after her first drawing she didn't draw for a month because of how "bad" it was, then after her second drawing she didn't draw for 2 months, but the point is she came back and didn't give up. (she still hates loads of her drawings which is natural for beginners)

I can't force you to stop having such a negative attitude about doing art, that's just a problem you'll have to figure out on your own, but I do know that every person that lets that little voice in their head win is losing an incredible experience. Some battles are worth it but then again that's just me.

At least I can spot that talking about talent is bullshit, more than as I think, you might compare to 'childhood nonsense' :v;
Actually I'm not your sister and many things happened to me, which define different a turn of my actual fellings, so I guess I'm unusual about it. more than you could expected. ;
Being a good teacher is delineating what particular person should pratice to achieve a goal that he/she wants to, beacuse as you know, all relay on themselves/.

Maybe I can't swiftly and clearly tell you my point of view, but even if, I'd like to let you know I was grateful for any help I might acheive from anyone, along with you; mind you, that's nothing challenging to relieve someone by telling how does optimally take matters into his/her own hands.

Moreover thank you very much for all time spent to write this all, I appreciate it at this point of 'helpfulness' at artistic stickers. ;3; //yeah, that actually means a lot now.

I noticed on Goggle plus today, Gallifrey “The Doctor” The Time Traveler  has probably traced over one of the stallion drawings. I just looked at it and remembered it was very similar to your drawing and he didn't credit you.
