King Sombra and his jewel, Princess Platinum. This is just me dipping into personal head-canon area, but I mean loooook it's Sombra and his daughter Platinum, it's just soo cute. He's adorableΒ and I can't stop thinking about it, asdfghjkl.(also if you are curious as to what the spot on his nose is, it is a spot. Or a stripe I guess when talking about horse nose patterns. I mean normally they'd be white but Sombra's is black because I felt like it.)

Wow, I've never really have thought of it that way. Like, this is a really cool head-cannon and it kinda makes sense if you add that other head-cannon too. The one about how Princess Platinum is the princess who suffered the love-poison. Sombra, being very close to his daughter, is crushed when he finds out that his treasure has been basically taken away from him. And by finding out that it was a love potion that caused it, he cased away love itself and takes it away from his subjects. Never wanting to suffer from it again.Β

Ok, I was just thinking in showing you a pair of scans of regular alternate King Sombra and armored Sombra, but ok, I understand.
I'm not a big fan of MLP FiM, nor the tv series or the comics, but I got very interested on King Sombra after seeing your drawing fav.me/d7mvgbg then I wanted to look for some reference pics about that character, to possibly draw him (maybe as a cat, since I recently drew princess Luna and Celestia as cats, and other ponies as cats like fav.me/d588x0w ).Β And accidentally I bumped into "alternate King Sombra" on Know Your Meme, and my curiosity for knowing more took me to search as much as possible.
I reccomend you to read the alternate King Sombra story, issues #17, 18, 19, 20, I saw loose scans on the web and slideshows of the comics on Youtube, pretty nice story, but I won't tell more so I won't become a spoiler

I wonder quite a bit about Sombra. Β I have a personal theory that he was actually a good and kind ruler who went to an extreme to try and solve a problem and ended up caught in a misunderstanding.
