It was a rhetorical question. It must be one hell of a zoom lens, though!

I didn't use an external lens. I just used a tripod and my camera, no attachments.

I figured. But what lens did you use. Aka, what is the max focal length.

It was at the max focal length, so it's whatever it says in the EXIF data. I'm new to photography and don't really know what everything is, so please just bear with me.

Ok, I looked online and it said that the max focal length is 560mm, hope this helps.

Did you get the info you wanted? Because all I know for sure about what I did is, I used an ISO of 80(anything higher and you get unwanted noise), I used manual focusing(camera will not focus on moon by itself), and an 80x zoom. I can't use any heavy filters or anything like that, because it will damage my cameras internal motor and render it useless. That's really all the info I have (that I'm sure of, anyway).
