Question, is there a way to slow down the tween? Because say I take one rylan from one end of the canvas, and take him to the other end, and when I test the classic tween, he just zooms across the entire stage (I'm using cs6).

Simply extend the end keyframe further out, so instead of being at 10 frames, you can make it at 20, 30 etc.

Yeah, Flash can be pretty picky.
Skip forward a frame, where I animate Kirby walking, it'll show you there.

sadly the Actionscript2.0 is no longer there on the welcome page for Flash CC. Unless I'm missing something?

No, it's a general idea. I can't really help you in terms of actually making one since everyone learns differently, but this is just to get an idea on how to get started.

yes everything as far as sprite animation works the same on cs3 (the classic tween is the motion tween in cs3)
