A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Energon Wing Saber downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

Ok, working on trying to make the Eng Shockblast/Sixshot mold look more like G1 Sixshot (and all the subsequent frustration that caused) got me thinking. There HAS to be a better mold to play a better homage to this character. Did alot of thinking about it. Looking at the little Sixshot PVC I have sitting on my desk, I tried to breakdown his parts to find a suitable mold for him. First the head. He had a face mask. Current lines seem to be shying away from those. (A damn shame really). After some thinking, I remembered, "Hey, Wingsaber has a mask...and come to think of it, his head design is pretty close to Sixshot's..." I then started looking the PVC over, and realized that formwise, Wingsaber was a near perfect match. Similar head design, a nice, wide "wing" design in the chest, blocky waist, big, blocky arms with overly tall shoulders, big ass blocky legs that are a completely different color from the rest of the body...it was perfect! Hell, Wingsaber even gas 6 gun barrels! So here we go. A more appropriate, more deserving, Energon Sixshot. I REALLY like the robot mode, though his jet mode doesn't really emulate any of G1 Sixshot's 6 modes. Oh well. Sixshot DID have a jet mode. Just a very different design. Hell, it's no more "Off" then Shockblast's 2 alt modes. Since his vehicle mode is so far off from the original, I couldn't emulate any kind of color design, so I just tried to do something that made that mode look good. Don't think it looks nearly as good as the robot mode, but it's good enough in my book. Sixshot would be proud. I hope. Otherwise, I'm gonna get killed like a little bitch like he did to Ultra Magnus... ( he's so my hero for that feat alone...)
