'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: CYBERTRON Thundercracker I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.Thundercracker the way he SHOULD have looked in Cybertron. I understand that they were going for a more “realistic” jet mode for him, but really, is a dark gray jet with ALL that neon orange paint apps and sky blue bits ANY more realistic then midnight blue & black with red and white stripes? I don’t really think so. And this looks SOOOOO much better IMO. *sigh* What could have been… Needles to say, I’m very happy with this one and wish this was how the actual toy looked.

It's certainly more realistic in terms of sculpt, Assy. Compare it to the Energon Starscream mold or the Armada Starscream mold. The colour change was probably so that he absolutely wouldn't be mistaken for Starscream. Whoever thought releasing Powerlinx Starscream as "Armada Thundercracker" in the US needs to be thwomped on the head. Also, I personally like the Cybertron colour scheme, it makes him more his own character. Neon orange, my aft. The orange panel lining looks nice IMO and doesn't stand out THAT much.
