A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: Cybertron Clocker/Swerve I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.Cybertron version of Getaway. Lets pretend he’s a part of a “Speed Planet 3-pack” with Joyride and Slapdash. I originally was going to do a Energon Hotshot as Getaway and Energon Prowl as Slapdash, but there was no Eng deluxe for Joyride, so this idea came to me next. Pretty happy with the way this guy turned out. I know he might look a little TOO similar to Clocker for some peoples tastes. I myself, being a big advocate of making repaints look “different enough,” but I think he manages to pull it off. Unlike a few OFFICIAL Hasbro Repaints, like…say…TFU Downshift and Cyb Override GTS.

I hear that. TFU Downshift was just plain horrid (not that the green/gold puke color they slapped on the Energon version was any better, mind you) and Override GTS's color scheme is just plain bad, not factoring in that it's still the same bloody character. I guess Hasbro had to fumble somewhere in Cybertron...
Anywho. Great repaint. Seems a tad on the darkish side tho' from what I remember of the character (mostly lighter colored comic panels), but it fits the mold well. Kinda like Cybertron Swerve's colors.

Aparently, his comic version looked nothing like the actual toy. used tfu.info's pics for this one, cause like you, my memory was a little fuzzy with some of these guys, heh.

Nothing I can't fix when I eventually get around to making Clocker's pixart model and slappin' you idea on it.
