What material is it-metal, bone or something else? And is it sharp or not?

Blade is forged from carbon steel, and almost sharp like razorblade. Guard is made from bronze with "lost-wax casting method" and handle is made mainly from birchwood. (Brown part is heat coloured in the owen) There is also some brass and leather plates between the handle parts and also one low carbon steel endcap where i peened the tang.
Interior of the sheath is carved from plywood and i coated it with black leather and also tanned the cow skin by myself. Sheath fitting is made from 3 mm steelplate and that buckle from brass.

It was the first knife what i made from real carbon steel, so i wanted to make also much as possible by myself, so only the dyeing colour, glue and that black yarn what i used for sewing the leather were some kind of factory made stuff.
