This is beautiful. I'm no photographer, so i can't give a "professional" critique, but i really love this. I love the tones, and simplicity of this, which yet has this powerful feeling to it.

This picture gives room for a lot of thought. The sepia is really beautiful and of course the rose too. The petals looked like feathers first, but at the same time petals.. strange. I like those small drops. ^^

eh, da... jednu slicnu ovoj, izradjenu na mat papiru sam dobila za jedno valentinovo...

Detalji znace mnogo. Da si recimo uslikala isti ovaj cvijet sa stabljikom koja dolazi odozdo, bila bi to klasicna fotka koja se ne bi po mnogo cemu izdvajala od vecine ostalih. Ali to sto stabljika dolazi dijagonalno s desne strane i sto je cvijet tacno onoliko tamniji od pozadine koliko je potrebno da ostavi izvrstan dojam, a opet nije pretjerano kontrastan da se na njemu ne vide sitni detalji, cini ovu fotografiju prelijepom.

This piece is really excellent... the colours and DOF are definitely what makes it. Your choice of colour filtering is definately what I like best about this one though.

i think the bg here is especially reminiscent of the feeling of loneliness. it's blank, empty, but between the lights and darks there is a sense of motion that tells of the swirling of thoughts that take over our minds when we're alone and lonely. the tone is perfect. the water drops are a beautiful touch and the stem coming from the corner area makes for good composition.
