Thanks, it is a gorgeous subject, they are both sooo innocent. No its not Jason, I was at a BBQ and this child was there, they gave me permission to paint her and eventually the work ended up with the parents, where it belongs. Didnt part with it for quite a while though.

Thankyou, it is very cute. I had a judge tell me that my work was close to being 'SENTIMENTAL' a major crime in the "ART" world ( I thought it was a valid emotion?)

They are very restrictive in what you can portray, seems all a revolt against the establishment does is get you another establishment! Bit like voting, all you ever get is the government.

Damn, that's cute. Well done! I think the good thing about traditional art is that for some reason when it's beautiful (as this is,) it shines through bad scans/photos etc.

Thankyou Liam for such a wonderful comment. It is one of my favorites. I couldnt resist painting it as it was sooo cute. I was at a BBQ when I captured this moment. It has long gone and is with the childs parents, where it belongs.
As artists, our imagination and experience does help us see past low resolution.
