ideation + process:
Always love the clown aesthetic. These two were actually inspired by some random photo I saw of these 2 [Russian?] girls in some sort of show where they were dressed up as a red and white clown of some sort. I never could find it again but the way it looked stuck to my head and I wanted to create something out of it. I envision these characters to be made up of a bunch of threads inside, doing acrobatics in a spidery kind of way as they chase you. And I also wanted to include a third form of sorts where they are crudely stitched together wielding some sort of scythe-like weapon. Not sure why a scythe but it felt appropriate. I have to work on that form a little bit more since I'm still unsure of how the shapes should look, but I really enjoy how these two turned out!
