I dunno why, but I really liked Katniss. Part of her was very relatable for me, and at the same time she was her own person and was just so very human. I love characters with flaws. Katniss is so imperfect, but not in "omg i'm so clumsy let me give you chances to save me~" ways. However her obliviousness with relationships gets obnoxious at times.

Katniss is human, and Katniss is wrong. I feel like almost any other protagonist, would try to be a better person. Even in the face of downright terror they try to be the better person.

Then there's Katniss, who despite knowing the horrors of the Hunger Games, agrees to hold one. That's just so...wrong.
