Description
As the title says, the characters in this piece were inspired by Mark Ryden's work.. the girls are myself (sitting) and my friend Geneve, very manipulated and partly airbrushed. Geneve's arms and legs are all painted, and our heads were airbrushed over quite a bit to get the soft pale dollish look. I like the result of this piece, though I do have another version I might upload without some of the texture. I couldn't decide which I liked best..All photos and textures are mine.

I love all your ultra-distorted/exaggerated work with human figures. I don't know where to begin to learn to photomanipulate images like that. No matter what I do with the picture to try to make a caricature out of it, it doesn't seem to work. Until some light is shed on that, I guess I'll just stick to painting.
