Description ...she says mysteriously.

Hm..i think this drawing can be interpreted in many ways, i can't even come up with just one solid explanation. we all need our gas masks. remember to breathe *wink*

Did this in one sitting. Ow, my poor fingers.

Inked. Thank you for viewing.

Amazing! Somehow it reminds me of young 'Battle Angel Alita'Β cyborg early in manga. Yet this is human, with gas mask. I .... LOVE IT!!!

Lovely flow of the hairline in this drawing.

And the respirator looks delightful, as well.

You're welcome.

It's a really lovely piece. I forgot to mention this, but I love the eyelashes and the "movement" (well, she's feeling her hair, which is, again, lovely), and the "air filters" (the nozzle things on the respirator) look like they were specifically designed.

You're right; the piece does offer several ideas of origin or whatever it brings out. I see a lass who feels as if life is a pain, so she puts on her respirator, lies down, and closes her eyes to go away to a place in her mind...

I like your interpretation very much. You're close to what I see this as, I suppose. When I drew this I was rather agitated about something.

Its nice to know that someone payed attention to the small details I put in this drawing. It made the intense throb in my fingers worth it. You're doing me a great favor. Much appreciated. ^^

Oh, is that so? Well, sometimes we all need to do stuff like that.

You're welcome. You did put a lot of effort into the little things, and I actually enjoy looking at them the most. Great work on it, and you deserve some praise for what you did.

Here's hoping for a sequal . (assuming that you feel like it, of course)

I think the oddness is what adds the appeal. For whatever reason though I seem most drawn to the curly pattern & pencils on the mask. For some reason a designer gas mask seems like a perfectly logical next step respiratory aids. ;D
