This one has been sitting around for way longer then I wanted but at least I managed to finish it before going off these coming two weeks. It was somewhat of an experiment but I'm happy with the result.I also used a reference and feel really guilty for not being able to find it anymore. I am still looking but if this is yours or if you have seen it then please let me know! (I figured I'd get an answer to my request for using it and so would have a link, but I never got one!)

Okay, I decided to comment on this piece because it has to be my favorite. I love the color and the imagination. Especially the way the bottom bird flies out of the portrait.

I'm glad you finished it too ^^ I love the color vs. black here.. and how her eyes jump out. The only part of her that is colored is her eyes.. lovely idea.

Actually, I used ink and acrylics!!! Which is still a bit strange to me, but it worked well. It is easier to mix them equally since they come in tubes. I havn't bought any watercolour tubes yet. Too expensive

Uhhmmm no actually, no Sandman influences unless it was unconcious.
I just got used to the colours too, found them a little too bright in the beginning. But seeing as it was my first layer I could hardly throw it out right then!
