Hey guys!So this is just a tutorial I made (sorry if it's not very good) about how to set up your 'Webcam' Widget. I just learned this myself today and one of my friends asked me so I figured I'd make this to help with others in the future who are trying to learn how to do it. I hope that this helps and please let me know what you guys think in the comments!

Sorry about that, I made this tutorial a while ago, and while I know the usual issue is you have to be a Premium Member, I'm not sure if they updated the way to set it up or not. Maybe try going through the tutorial again? They might've changed some settings, or where to locate certain things.
Or, if it's a matter of the graphic you want not showing up, it might be a problem with the link you're trying to use. I'd suggest trying a different one to see if that works.

Unfortunately, DA made this feature only available for Premium Members. Lots of people are hoping they change it back though!
The webcam widget doesn't require the use of an actual webcam/laptop camera - you can insert the link to pictures/GIFs that are elsewhere on the internet and have them show up on your profile.

Yes unfortunately DA changed their rules/widgets around and now I believe the Webcam is only for Premium Members. (Or, if you were a member before they changed the rule, I don't think yours gets taken down - unless you try to change the picture [that's how I lost mine])
Sorry about that Hun - but if you ever become a Premium Member or if they change the rule back or something - at least you'll know how to do it!

But they haven't completely done away with it (from what I've heard) - they've only changed it so that only Premium Members can use it.

From what I understand, if you're a Premium Member, it should be right in there with the rest of the widgets - the same as is was before the rule was changed.
I'm not too entirely sure about it, I'm sorry to say but I'd love to inquire DA for you (if you'd like me to) so that we can get a straight 'official' answer on the subject.

Fiddling around with dark magics I found a turn around.
By using CSS code you can import an image just like the webcam widget used to.
Just try using something like this
If you have premium you can make use of the custom widget.
If not you can set it up below the bio on your deviant ID
Take a note that all I did was googling a bit of CSS, I have no actual idea how programming works lala~
