Description
An excuse to 'rescurrect' Orod, because no other horse would fit in his horseshoes. Not even his kids. Sorry Kiddos. This is towards the end of his life, when he had a better grasp of dragons and what he wanted them to look like and do, showing off for his kids.Also, tree glow guyz. Curtesy of Bronwen, master of lights. He's hiding in the trees so not to get attacked by Orod's dragon, because you just never know.

First of all, I'm so glad you used my suggestion, I was really looking forward to seeing this redraw, I thought it would show off your improvement on several ends, and it does. Oh boy, it does so much.
I love the visible crosshatching effect, it gives the image such a nice and interesting texture. The glow effects look amazing, I love how you made the transition between it and the rest of the work, it's at that perfect point between being too harsh or too soft, absolutely great <3
The way you placed the background elements contribute to the overall magical feeling of the work, and they lead the eye through the imagine in a very nice way.
And let's not forget how epic Orod looks! Love the pose and shading on him

Honestly, I think you and Agaave were some of my main inspirations to really try with colour pencils to begin with? Seeing what people could do with what was associated with 'school assignment' work made me want to do the same thing. So... I did. My way. XD
