I've always been a big fan of the DreamofDoll website www.dreamofdoll.com and have wanted to draw several of the dolls I've seen there. I finally had a chance to sit down and sketch one of my favorite, "Elf Ducan".2 hours, graphite on Strathmore Medium sketching paper (which is very rough and great for sketches, but I don't like it for smoother drawings)
I took a quick sec and added a hint of Photoshop coloring to the scan.
If anyone wants the original sketch, note me.

I think some of those BJD photo's I see are beautiful inspirations for drawing manga or fantasy-like characters, I've made only one drawing base don one so far, but I should draw another one day...I wish they made some of those BJD clothes in real, human sizes too
