I've been doing so much graphic work this past few weeks that I'm worn through and I needed a little break, so I sketched a fun little silly something for no reason tonite.The sketch is based off a photo of a BJD named Petsha from the Dream of Doll website www.dreamofdoll.com
I didn't really like her "jewelry" so I changed it up.
It's an odd size (8x12.5) because I used a scrap of vellum britsol that I had left over from something else. Mechanical pencils, HB & 2B. Did it through four episodes of Darker Than Black
so I guesstimate it took around 2 hours. Colored the eyes and tinted the lips with Photoshop; might do a more fully colored version later.

I like how this has a realistic like quality. I love the slight hint of color in the lips, and the eye color.

Your shading is GORGEOUS. I love the contrast and shine on the ornaments in her hair and her jewelry. The bright white highlights in her eyes stand out very well. The skin looks great and I like how you colored only the lips and eyes so they could stand apart from the pencil.
