Description
Once again, I've been approached by Late Knight Games some months ago for an opportunity to design some of the monsters for their game, a tabletop pokemon and D&D love child called Majimonsters. Specifically, for the new major expansion to the game, Shattered Empire. The expansion and the game were funded on Kickstarter, and is already available to backers, with a standard release to follow pretty soon, or so I've heard. With their blessing, I'll be posting some of the monsters available in the game which were designed by yours truly, hope you guys like them!"A small shrub that crackles with electricity both static and lightning. Its roots and branches resemble lightning bolts."
Not a lot to go on initially, so I decided to go weird with this one, meeting some resistance from the client in the process. It ended up being my favorite out of the ones I've designed so far, almost looking like an Ultra Beast now that I think about it... Grass/Electric anyone? Not sure if the client is that satisfied with the result though...
If you liked this one, you can check the other seven monsters I've done for the expansion right here:
Blockable
Pelicarrior
Ottspring
Mudsucker
Avalaunch
Sea Monkyi
Octopunch
The expansion doesn't seem to be available to the general public yet, but you can check the base game on this link if you're interested. The kickstarter has long ended, but if you want to learn more about the expansion you can read about it their page right here .
I've personally haven't played any of the expansions or the base game, but working with Late Knight Games was really nice, and I'm still open to working again in the future, so I hope there aren't the last ones you'll see.
