ahhh, the mighty hog. It's an older A model, but still one hell of a kick ass machine. The Davis Monthan AFB demo team always puts on a good show.

This was before the Charlie retrofit. However, I wouldn't call the Charlie models "new" by any stretch. They simply retrofitted the Alphas with updated avionics. Not all of the Alphas are being converted.

Very true, but along with those avionics comes some other cool stuff. there are quite a few more sensors on the tail and wingtips. I repair these lovely machines, and the C mod really improved our capabilities with regards to "smart" weapons and stuff. Course the pilots always want to use the gun instead of bombs or missile, and they always look like a kid fresh from the candy store when they come back from a mission where they got to gun something. I hope that we get the new engines shortly, that will greatly help in terms of payload carrying and runway requirements. Nothing wrong with the TF34 though, it's one tough engine.
