This is the first thing i have completed in my ap art independant study. im doing the study of comic/manga making, it's really tedious. maybe i just suck, idk.i sorta like how this turned out, i just love the idea of making a story. it's so much fun <3

so plot:
Title: An Angel's Tear
This story is about the angel Lucifer before the fall. He is still a perfect and holy being, and he is well loved by all the other angels and God himself. I modeled Lucifer after this verse in the bible:
Ezekiel 28:11
"You were the model of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty"
Lucifer is the head of the warrior angels of heaven, and Micheal is his apprentice. The story follows their friendship up to the point where Lucifer is cast from heaven.
so yeah, i hope the first page is understandable, it only took, like, 12 weeks? i am so lame...

haha you got me all excited to update soon, so i'm actually already working out the next page
it's just the planning out the page layout that takes the longest, drawing isn't the issue, it's the stupid dialog and putting the right panels where, it's so hard >.<

I believe I understand, isn't it hard to choose how to put the panels?
I mean manga panels are so hard to place, and it's easy to make panels from really weird figures.
Unlike American comics the panels of a manga can have almost any shape O.O

yeah, the shap, size, and composition of the picture inside are all suuuper important, and it's so hard to be creative enough to make it look interesting >.<

wow I like both pages...being christian, its cool to see people do religiously themed stuff, my manga i'm working on will have some of the same kind of stuff.... thanks for the inspiration to keep moving forward.

My old Christian friend said he was an angel of music, so as far as I know that's what he is
