daaaaaah my titles are awesomeMy character Micheal in my 'An Angel's Tear' manga following the friendship of michael and lucifer during lucifer's fall from heaven OMG I PROMISE I AM STILL TOTALLY WORKING ON THAT THING. I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT.

Simply wonderful, Atomic! There's definitely a lot of work and thought that shows how much work you put into it. It almost seems like it was too easy, on the other hand, but I think if you took it too seriously, the meaning would be lost.
So, for some common critique, I must say there is improvement! I like your originality here, as the scenery says it all. Lush gardens and a quite shore seems, with Michael climbing the trees definitely shows a lot of innocence within the character. Still, not so much imagination as to a simple stare into the audience. Just some minor tweak to show a better personality, no biggie!
Also, maybe it's just me, but am I focusing too hard on the weird position of the fingers? Not saying that they're ugly or anything, but it doesn't seem, well, too natural. But I degrees. As stated before, if this picture took too much seriousness (which I think I am Dx), then the simplicity of not caring would be lost! I do like your light touches (even though they slightly blind me with such high resolution) to your marker, that irresistible and catching smile, and the subtlety of soggy clothes, although that is hot enough! 
All in all, this still shows your talent still with some improvement in originality! Please don't make it sound like this was a 'bad' drawing, cause it totally was not! I really do like it, and if I saw it as poster sized, you KNOW I would buy it! The anatomy is good, the scenery is nice and your ideas seems to be always on the roll! And that is what makes him adorable!

yeah, the fingers totally are really wonky, but i just couldnt get them right, but there's a sign for an place of obvious need for improvement, AND OMG I KNOW. ALL MY PICTURES ARE SO... STATIC i need to draw more interesting poses and expressions and composistions.
im glad you liked the bg tho, that's what i was aiming at, purity and innocence, light, and joy... a total contrast to the Lucifer picture i'm gonna upload tomorrow.

Woooow. I wanted to write a critique for this, but there isn't actually a lot to critique about it. The only thing I see maybe a little bit off off is his right upper arm. Unless it's angled toward the viewer it's a bit too short. I also kind of wish you had made the sky a bit darker. It feels really washed out right now.
I really like how you do wings and water droplets, Kiki. Wow. You pull off the wet-shirt thing so well with markers.

yeah... i wish i hadn't made the picture so blindingly bright but oh well. i didnt trust taking my light cerulean blue marker (the one i usually use for skies) cause it's running out and really streaky, so i attmpted to watercolour it. tho the watercolour was waay to light, ugh. oh well :/
yeah. omg that arm >.< i spent a good two hours just trying to get it in the right position, it is supposed to be facing the viewer, but uhg. whatever. i wash my hands of it.

You know, you could always mess with the saturation of the sky or the whole piece in CS3. You have that right? xDDD
I know how you feel about working on one part for too long. Urgh. The piece is still gorgeous, and not everybody will notice it. :]

Yes, it looks a lot better now. The sky is easier to see! Last time it wasn't too easy to tell actual sky from clouds. Good work Kiki!!
Oh oh, maybe a bit of foreshortening on Michael's right upper arm would have helped. That'd be really tough though. I think I'd get really frustrated. Oh well, something to think about next time.

I really like that idea too... Very interesting.
The overall wet feel the picture has is so wonderful <3 Its starting to get warmer here so it makes me want to go swimming, though I do not dare as the water would be like 30-40 degrees >< , and its just got that nice, warm summer day feel. But then again, it is the garden of Eden!

I know its like, getting so warm. I actually fell asleep on my aunts Trampoline today... I laid out in the sun and collapsed XD It was pride day today and we got to do pretty much whatever at school, even had a few inflatable things to play on. fun stuffs.
And now I want to run around in a sprinkler...
It did work! His shirt looks so nice <3 and the whole picture just has this moist feel to it. 8D

oh dont worry about it, that is the one thing i majorly struggle with, i have like, ZERO imagination, and so just thinking about this scene was hard. i took a lot of inspiration from CLAMP, i just have to practice more.
so i know that you'll be able to come up with amazing things ^^
