Description
Bored at work so collected some dA muro stuff I've done in the last couple daysThere's just something cathartic about doodling... I can't explain it. BUT I can explain the settings I'm using:
These were all done with the mouse. I use 90% opacity, 50% "webby" brush and then anywhere from 2%-40% size brush
Browser: Chrome
System: Windows 7, Core 2 Duo, 8 G of RAM
Explanations / Apologies:
Left to right, top to bottom:
-Running gag made visual, my sister is a big fan of Wild Arms and every time I'd see the box (prominently displayed in her room) I'd say "you can't hug your children with Wild Arms!" to which she would get annoyed and kick me out haha, though how a monster mom with snake arms came to mind from this I don't know... (she has poison control on speed dial?)
-Saw a picture of a giant Pocky stick thought it looked like a lightsabre, never drawn Ayla Secura before...
-You're the top!
You're the Coliseum.
You're the top!
You're the Louver Museum.
You're a melody from a symphony by Strauss
You're a Bendel bonnet,
A Shakespeare's sonnet,
You're Mickey Mouse
You're the TRICERA-TOPS!... too much caffeine...
-Well now just about ev'rybody likes a visit from the ol' Thanks Ya Buckaroo!
-With that I'm leaving!
-Or am I (wow, do I suck at drawing Bugs!)

It's sort of backward to how you'd think it should work, when you make quick strokes it spreads out, when you make slow, deliberate strokes it stays together and provides a sharper line.
But yeah, lots of fun

That Pocky Saber wouldn't be an effective weapon. The Younglings would be mobbing the Jedi and scarfing the 'saber every time it was drawn to fight.
Thanks for sharing Tiki-man! Happy new year and hope it's a better one for you!

Probably the first Muro drawings I've seen that didn't totally suck. Proof of talent in the face of adversity.

Thanks
Just for fun you know, it seems to bring out skills I don't know I have, like drawing cowpokes.

Tricera-tops needs to be a recurring character. It has to be!

Doggone Muro has screwed me out of at least two "comment" doodles, since there's no way to save anything other than a screen grab.
But thanks for the settings you use -- "webbiness" always seemed dumb to me, but I'll look at it again.

When you've posted your dA Muro comment you can right-click on the picture and save your drawing (at least you can in Chrome).
The webbiness is pretty much the only way to get line variation, the faster you move the "webbier" it gets, sort of counter intuitive...

The way Muro has screwed me out of drawings is by telling me "you aren't allowed to post a picture comment" after I've done the work! Happened 2-3 times so far. Then it reacts badly to almost any action I am allowed to take. This is in Firefox. I should see if Chrome behaves differently.

Chrome seems to work well with it.

I wish muro wasn't so laggy... T^T

I think the cowboy is my favourite, that's the one I drew for you (you crazy fav-machine you). I also like snake-mom there, high fives could have dire consequences LOL
It's not too laggy with like $500 worth of low-latency RAM haha-hugh
I wish it was less intensive so more people would doodle, the world needs more for fun doodles!

LOL I liked those two best XD The snake-arms made me giggle
Apparently it works better with Chrome, but I like Firefox too much to switch. ALMSOT did.. but I have too many addons that don't switch over.

Haha
I run both browsers side by side, though I've been using FF a lot less. There are just some plugins that I can live without
