ATTENTION Alright, I needed some colouring practise and I wanted to see some more Yoko so here's what I did:
I downloaded a colouring sheet from Marathon's Team Galaxy site ([link] ).
Finding the line quality not so good I traced it.
Then I coloured it.
So... I know there are mixed opinions about this sort of thing here on dA but really all I wanted to do was get some colouring in. I did not do the line work here (well, I did do some tweaking here and there but anyway) all I did was add a spot of colour.

A colourists work is also about the pics they pic to colour, Looks nice and subtle. Im always trying to push my own colouring skills to get better so pratice does help you improve so much

Absolutely. Practise helps you learn and I'm becoming much happier with my cel style. This colouring job took about three hours (including redraw time).

I wish wish wish I could draw this style freehand.
I've been practising but the thing that I'm hung up on is the head to eye size ratio. It's maddening.
Anyway, I learnt a lot from this exercise, but, what did you think of the colouring?

Your choice of colors is highly appropriate.

Well... it was a fairly jagged edge. I would not have that patience or skill.
She also looks marginally older in the picture then the rest of her promotional artwork.

It took me about an hour to redo the lines (with some tweaking).
I think she looks older in this picture because she's dressed up a bit and looking more refined

I like the fact that you are so BLATANTLY honest about what you do, how you do it, and then just doing it. Remember, values are for one's self ... they cannot be measured by others, though you might agree on how they relate to you both.
