All I can find are bad video transfers from VHS.

I understand your position. This is the type of show you may only find VHS-rips videos of which is very sad. I personally wouldn't care long as the VHS quality is good. but that would be asking for too much.

I have a big binder full of photocopies of the original TMS roughs

The tricky bit was picking the colours. As there aren't many non-grainy, vibrant coloured reference pics around and since I'm colourblind... it was hard to find the right shade.

Oh wow! You need to scan those in and make a file to save! Those are worth so much not only to you, I'm sure, but to a lot of us fans out there as well!

You did a fantastic job with the colors! If I didn't know better, I would say it was a piece of work done by the studio who originally did the cartoon!

I think they sell them on eBay from time to time, but I'd have to get my hands on a better scanner to do it
