A long time in the making (mostly because I kept putting it off), finally finished the inking / colouring tonight.
This pose is right outta the cartoon so I can't take the credit for it, check out Episode 2 "Cold Spells" about 1:20 in (when Link gives Zelda the flower).
I love the cartoon and this version of Zelda is my favourite, soooo, now you know how warped I really am

Well the best part was back in the day all there was were a few small pictures in the manual and some blocky pixels so it was open to interpretation. I know I would't have an "action girl" wearing a ballgown everywhere (ok Princess Peach aside) so this makes the most (and hottest) sense.
She is by far my favourite version

Thanks! Well I knew everyone else would be doing more modern Zelda stuff and the one that brings the fondest memories back to me are the originals, so I thought I'd do something from that era
Zelda in the cartoons had these moments of sweetness that stuck with me to this day, so that's why I love her and continue to draw her

She was a lot of fun and the cartoons are hilariously goofy now. I found one of the old cassettes of it we had from back in the day and the episode description can basically be summaried as "Ganon trolls a bunch of amateur wizards."
Does it get much better than that? I'm not sure.
