Rogue from "X-Men Evolution" after absorbing Sabretooth's mutant powers.Finally got round to colouring the line art: [link]
I am starting to think that I should always leave time between line art and colouring because when I do it looks so much better and I often fix errors in my line art.

I liked the idea as well. Rogue has always been an interesting character, she can drain one mutant of their powers and use them for herself, pretty useful. Too bad all the emotions and stuff are absorbed too.

Even the flat colour version was only so-so adding the shadows and highlights really made this pop

Very cool! The only thing I would have (possibly) done differently, is show her gaining fangs. Thats just me though. You did a magnificent job emulating the series style. Great job!

There is a video on YouTube that helped me out quite a lot, plus I found about three different colour character turnarounds that gave me all the fiddly details that I obsess about. In the end it came out quite nice.

When I was about 1/3 through colouring I realized that she had sort of a goth eyeshadow going on around her eyelashes, when I added it it was like *bam* man. Getting the skin tone just right was not easy, I ended up using the eyedropper and taking a sample from a really clean source image.
I may draw a more normal version of her, and "classic" cartoon Rogue as well.

Yeah the goth look really fits her and her skin tone is very hard to get right.
You mean from the 90's cartoon? That would be sweet! I didn't understand the flight jacket she wore. I mean, it looked cool but the functionality of it didn't make sense to me.
