Description
There is no better way to highlight the difference between the Coalition of Sol and the forces of the Centauri Defense Network than their philosophy in how to design a warship. Instead of the heavy logistics train and highly specialized vessels used by Sol in order to keep their massed fleets operating without constant fuel and ammunition crises the Centauri opt for a far more independent philosophy allowing vessels to operate far away from friendly starports and supply ships for long periods of time for a vast multitude of lower intensity missions to slowly wear down Sol's warfighting ability.

As a multi-mission frigate the Cayman boasts not only good offensive and defensive weapons between heavy railguns, missiles, and point defense guns, but also an impressive sensor and interdiction suite to help fight the ever evolving electronic war that has been causing chaos on all sides. To help augment its long term missions the Cayman also has a very large hangar bay on the front of the vessel to carry dozens of smaller utility vehicles, drones, and transports to help assist in information gathering, boarding actions, and non combat missions.
