Hiya there folks, how are you doing?
today has been a good day I think, there was no internet in most of the afternoon and night, but I took my time to go with hugo (pet of the family for who don't know, it's a duck) out there so I could play basketball, and he would have fun flying over the neighborhood's yards We enjoyed it very much, there was a a really nice and fresh breeze in the air! I know the past weeks I've been feeling a bit down (as the people who have my journals noticed) because of some health problems and the constant trips to chiapas and back to my town that I didn't wanted to do but I was forced to do. I think I was sad becuase here there's not much internet and I miss you guys! *chuckles* Also the trips kinda made me felt face my "ex-biggest fear" (since a friend of mine recommended me to not call it " old nemesis", but I called it old nemesis because it is supposed that it's no longer my nemesis ) but mainly, the were annoying cos they made me felt like I forgot all the artistic ideas and projects I was having when I was in my town, it's funny but I thought I had no more ideas But today that there was no internet I realized that if you don't remind your old ideas, you just need to relax and voilá you will come out with others! Like this one that just pooped in my head!
Today I was thinking of what to do, and I was thinking of my friend because I read the other day and in his journal that he was sad because he has problems in his back and it hurts, and he can't sit to draw or paint. So I was thinking that I'd like to draw a frankie to cheer him up, and also because of course, when I lots of difficulties happens at the same time in my life and feel like I don't serve for anything, doing drawings for my friends always makes me feel better! That's something that I would change for anything, making a new art that makes people happy in general makes me feel reborn, but specially for my friends And I know Frankie art it's one of the things you all love a lot, everybody loves frankie So I was thinking of what kind of pic of her I'd do and I was thinking of some french comics that I had seen a while ago, and I noticed that french comics in general had a particular style, specially in the eyes and face. Also retro style has a similary, so I said "Eureka!!" started to paint, and this came out, a pic that it's retro (it's a retro suimsuit, in case someone don't know ) but also I wanted to try give the painting a french cartoon or comic style ....But I think I didn't do it very well with the eyes, they don't please me so much ...see why I don't try new styles? I always end making a weird face!
Hehe, well actually I think it's pretty good for the first try *chuckles* Also it's my first new art in weeks!! aND IT'S AWESOME that I even didn't thought much to come out with the idea! I was relaxing and doodling for my own amusement I even didn't think this was going to end becoming a drawing! But it did it! Even if it was a bit difficult to work with the tablet now because I think the usb cable got a bit bruised due the trip, and sometimes don't plug it well, but even if my arm and shoulder hurts, I feel so incredibly happy!! I want to say OH MON DIEU OH MON DIEU OH MON DIEU!!! (because I feel "oh my god it's not enough to show how happy and excited I am ) OOOOOOOOOOH MY DEARGOD!!! Making new art again makes me feel reborn!! I think it was exactly what I needed to recover my positive spirit!!
