Description
[link]Inspired by the movie "The Brave Little Toaster", this is from the scene where lampy finds this tree, and everybody got scary by it's aspect!! Sure many of you remember this!! I made this drawing because I loved that scene, it was so funny!! LOL
I saw the movie when I was a child, and that's one of my few favorite cartoon movies until now!! I loved that movie, it's a great clasic! And Lampy always was my favorite character, I liked very much his voice in English and Spanish!
Also I love "The brave Little Toaster to the Rescue", but the one about mars was a little boring...In fact, today the movie was on! the rescue one! but it was going to end, and only saw the end! Some time ago I made this picture about another of my favorite scenes! [link]

I loled so hard. I never saw the first or third films, so I watched them on Youtube. Lampy was always my favorite.
I guess the nice thing about lamps is that they really can't be outdated...just the bulbs!

Lampy it's very cool and Fun!
And he really has a great voice in English and in the Spanish transtation they made for Mexico (with Mexican actors) it's really cool too cos it sounds a lot like the original one!
That's what I love so much from mexican dubbing!! the fact that dubbing actor don't mess up character's voices!
Yeah! You're right! I think it's practical and quite easy to change just the bulbs, and like this lamps can be durable for more time!

Yup, I've seen all 3. Which one was your favorite? I liked the third one the best. It had the most mystery, excitement, and sadness. Do you draw Brave Little Toaster pictures often? Because you're REALLY good. I've never drawn any, but I think that I might now that I'm a better drawer than I was. Keep up the lamp-tastic work!

Thank you!!! I'm glad you liked my work!!!
The first is a classic, and I loved it of course! but I love most "The Brave Little Toaster to the rescue" I don't know if it's the second or the third for you, here in mexico, where I am, first was released "The Brave Little toaster to the Rescue", and after "The brave little toaster goes to mars". I've heard for some reviews that to English-speaking people was the opposite, and "The Brave little toaster goes to mars" was the second, and the movies were not presented in secuence.
"the Brave little toaster to the rescue" was a great movie, it had more excitement and suspense than the mars one, the story was more credible, and also talk about to care the animals (I love animals) without neglecting the Toaster and his appliances friends! I loved the plot, the animals, the music, the subtle and hilarious references and jokes about informatic terms (I think I'm a geek, ya!) and the rescue of the animals. I specially loved a lot their ingenious idea of making a transport with kirby, a battery, and a office cart to rescue the animals! they always are clever to make something to transport themselves!
And I also liked the funny things, such as the modem saying " you can't go to the superhighway without me" so they took him with them, although it was no necesary! Or when Blanky said to Rob lanky "Hi Master!", when I saw that scene I was breathless from laughing so much!
All films of this trilogy have always been full of unknowns, are mystical and have many curious things, things that intrigue you and make you wonders things (and more when you're a kid), as in the first film where the air conditioning breaks down, or (the same) when the old blender is disarmed and a guy cut his cable to sell his parts to someone else and the appliances get scared and hide their cables, or when kirby was freaked out when he saw the water fall, or when in the mars one the calculator got a overload or something.
There are a lot of curious scenes, but I specially loved a scene from the end of "the brave little toaster to the rescue", when Wittgenstain restores Rob's thesis from the computer.I don't know why, but that was my favorite part of all the film when I saw it and I always turned back to see this part again and again!! The las year I found a video of that scene and it brought me cozy and happy memories of my childhood, but the most curious thing is that I never knew why that always was my favorite part when I was a child! It was something hard to explain, but now I think maybe it's because it's a very exciting ending to the thesis problem, it's wonderful and so amazing!! I think it's the true climax of the film, the real end of the movie because after save the animals the thesis was recovered, and in an amazing way!! Or in part because there is something mysterious; I found this scene quite intriguing, and the mistery was exciting!!...I always wondered what happen with the computer..and for a time after seeing the movie I always asked to people who had seen the film if they had noticed something inusual and what they think had happened to the computer, but now I think the mistery is good, the unknown is delightful! when I was a child I found that scene was very cool!! My brother and sister said perhaps he felt tickling, I don't know..the person who put the video on youtube noticed there was something curious on that scene, but gave rise to controversy by the way he or she display the video and the tittle she or she used..guess what he or she means!
just check the video you can see it here [link] There is much speculation about what REALLY happened to the computer, but we actually don't know!
only the producers know it! But people with their speculations made me laugh
....especially because I also thought something similar, mostly for THAT SAX background music, but after that I said "I don't think so, surely it's my imagination, because this is a kids movie"...buy yeah I thought that...but I was a kid!
and that was something weird! Well, I was in puberty, but I don't think there is much difference, I was a kid raised in the old way!
When people say that it bothered me a lot, because that's one of my few favorite movies that remind me of my childhood, and I thought they were making fun of it, but now thinking about it, I think that would be true, actually, and I think it would be cool if that were true.
I've seen a few clips of the movies on youtube and I must say I was surprised a lot with the talent of the original actors, their voices are great and are much alike to the dubbing actors voices in Spanish; all actors give the same personality to the characters, which makes you feel confortable watching them, because you feel they are the same characters!
I loved when the producers made us see the electricity through wires, then by the light poles and into the house or to other destination, that usually was a computer, all that with it's own background music! I always enjoyed seeing that! these movies have an excellent soundtrack!
when I was a kid I came to think that appliances could talk...I don't know why, but to see these movies left me a feeling to protect my appliances, now I used to be fond with my appliances even if they're too old!

Me too! I didn't have a very good toaster, but I did have a vacuum and a bedside lamp. The vacuum had little headlights on the front, like eyes. So we named him Kirby. And we named the lamp Lampy. Do you like that cartoon Spongebob? Well, if you do, then just to let you know, Wittgenstein was played by the dude who plays the Flying Dutchman in Spongebob. And I don't think that it was fair for Radio to be accused of breaking the tube. Ratzo should've let him put the tube in Wittgenstein anyway. And when the tube finally does get put inside of him, I just LOVE the line where Toaster says, "Do your best, because now, you have Radio's best inside of you." Wasn't that just the sweetest thing?

Yeah! Yeah!! That's what I mean!
I didn't have a toaster or a lamp, but I had a mp3 called Byron!.... actually still got it! it was one of the first mp3 that came out, and he always accompanies me to everywhere since I was a teen, when I had problems and in good times too...and although sometimes the computer or my stereo no longer want to recognize him , he still works and have all my songs! It's like a friend in some strange way...a friend who makes me company and don't judge me, and don't ask me anything! Some people may think is weird but...it's true actually!....and it's great!
well...I don't like sponge bob, I just think that show is too silly (no offense if you like) but my brother use to watch that show, so I know in mexico that character is named "El Holandez Volador" wich it's very appropiate cos it's the correct translation! I love Wittgenstein!!! cos he's so smart and kind too, and so cool!! he has a great voice in English and spanish! All chacacters have it! I think they are even better at English, I think I've become accustomed to voices in English because I've seen some clips in English, and I have not seen the movie in Spanish for a loong long time! English voices are so cozy! and I enjoy seeing the clips in English because I learn many new works and prases!
I liked very much the voice of Rob's computer from the rescue one, specially in that scene form the clip (do you've seen the clip?) I always wanted to know who was the actor who played the computer. that computer had a name? do you know?...Oh and yeah! I LOOOVEED A LOOOT that scene!!!! when Toaster said that I just cried ....that the scene melted my soul...seriously....that was the sweetest thing I ve seen!
I think it wasn't fair for Radio to be accused of breaking the tube, too, Ratzo should've let him! YES!!!
I loved that part of the end where everyone are amazed and admire Wittgenstein, when they take him to the museum. I think it was a truly wonderfull place to him and he SO deserved it!!! poor Wittgenstein! That part of the end was a very encouraging and shows that anyone can find a place! even if it seems that one doesn't belong anywhere, because in the case of Wittgenstain he was an obsolete computer, but he DOES had belonged to a place where people could appreciate him, at the museum! I tought something similar when I met him...in fact the whole end is inspiring!
Some time ago I had drawings about scenes from the 3 movies, but one day we moved and the garbage truck took all them because my mom threw them in trash by accident! And after that I no longer dried to draw anything. You should try to make drawings about the movie, I drew this by chance, and it came out very well!!
Thanks for answer!! It's really great to meet you!
