Hey howdy mate! Glad to see a comment from you in my gallery! : excited:
As an admirer of your work I'm very honored!
Yeah it's been a while ago since he was healed, and we released him on a lake at the outsides of the city. Far away from roads. He looked pleased when he touched the water ^^

You should find a local wildlife rehabber. She is going to need daily wound care and antibiotics to prevent infection and make sure her shell heals properly. Β

Don't worry mate, I've save animals like this before, I know what to do. Β I went to the vet and bought some medicine, I cure it every day withΒ with hydrogen peroxide also, and keep it safe, clean and dry
thanks for the comment!

Hydrogen peroxide is actually a poor choice. Β
"hydrogen peroxide does not prevent or treat infections in wounds. Not only that, hydrogen peroxide slows healing and may even cause cellular damage. That bubbling you see? It's probably the hydrogen peroxide attacking you."

oh wow, I didn't know!
But when I read this I stopped using it. And luckily the turtle health quickly and in a couple of weeks we released her on the woods, near to a little lake, and safe from the roads. I'm sure he will be better there than on the city

Yeah, you were right, it has its shell broken. But that's why I have it here, so I can take care of it until it's ok to come back to the wild

Thanks!! ^__^
I knew that if we released it like this it will get mud and dirt and the wound would get infected and the turtle would die. But here it's safe andΒ me and my dad cure it with hydrogen peroxide every days so that its wound does not get infected Β

do turtle shells heal? I know that they bleed, so presumably there are active cells within the shell?
I am confused *BLUSH*

I'm not sure mate, the kids brought it to my house and was like that. They say they found it on the middle of the street, so I deduct that maybe some car passed over it It broke his shell of a side the poor!
