The painted version of [link] I took a good while drawing this cos I did it on the weeks I was in chiapas, like 3 weeks I spent there and I forgot my tablet So I tried to use my sister's one again and se was ok with it, but it happened that the computer I was using that time didn't recognize the drivers (my sister's tablet is a genius and mine it's a wacom) so it disconected over and over, and then when the pointer responded again it made all sorts of scratches and lines where I didn't wanted them to be O_O It was really difficult to paint that way, I got an ache in my wrist!...And I got desperated! So that's why I finish it just now, cos I had to wait until I came back here so I could use my tablet! My precious precious wacom! I'll never forget you!!....I'm hesitant of traveling with it though cos I fear of losing it!... And then if I lose it what I'm going to dooo?!! I don't think I'd be able to draw with a mouse anymore!
Well, hehe, I made this with love for my dear friend cosI know that she worked a lot in the edition and now she's struggling to send her novel to publishers so they can pick it and it can be released....and I heard that some of them have rejected it....I...I haven't finished a book, I haven't gotten so far with a book...but I have submitted comic strips to publish some time ago, so I know how hard it feels when this happens...
She has been one of the best and most true friends I had of the rare true friends I had the pleasure to find, she's my mentor, my friend, my confidant...a role model, an example of what kind of person I would like to be! Is like a loving sister for me! It would break my heart if she gives up on having her first book published, she has been working on this since I know her *chuckles* So I think she deserves it to become a reality! That's why I would like to dedicate this little gift to her, as a tribute to her and her characters and art, as always, but this time specially as moral support! So she don't get desperated and down, so she can hear that there are people in this world who love her and admire her as a person and as an artist!
Jen, we love you! I do love you my sis! I hope you like this ....Oh and sorry if it doesn't look much like her I hope it does.
Oh here I tried to do something with the original outfit since I liked it very much, so it's my own design + the colors of the original outfit. Also I tried a new painting technique with the hair, I think it looks well
