Description
A short made for Albino Blacksheep's Tournament of Flash Artists (TOFA 2012).For every round, each contestant has only three weeks to make a cartoon from scratch that works around an assigned theme or challenge.
Round 3 Theme - Me, Myself and I

"Round 3 is where I really started feeling the burn; the competition only got tougher, the challenges began to stack, and to top it all off, the gig I was doing at the same time was becoming more strenuous to manage.
I'll admit, Round 3 is where I got a little cocky; I took a huge risk on a dialogue-heavy cartoon and I forgot the point was to have plenty of animation. Still, I had a lot of fun writing it out and working with the voice actors. I think it's mostly thanks to them that I managed to score another win."

i love this one, its a great animation to make someone confidence of their selves, i have this problem actually, stage fright, and all of these tips are very useful for the stage fright, great job here! i hope to see more of this, also, i love sarah's new voice. The old one was good and i like it very much, but i feel like this one is way better with sarah's personality, you know, make her more cartoon, and funny to hear. Keep up the good job.

Thanks! I had fun with their faces. I just realized this is the first time I've animated Sarah interacting with another character; as Sarah Williams pointed out, she seems to be a bit of an unintentional troll. XD

Beautiful. I loved everything, decent job on designing backgrounds, 'camera views' and how they zoom in at times, such like that, it's really like watching actual tv show. : ) Sarah was awesome, really nice to see her being alive with words and emotions, you did amazing with facial expressions, it's like you know every basic of great toony show!

Aww, thanks. I think the backgrounds are really kinda rough/wonky, now that I look at it again.
I had a lot of fun animating and writing Sarah here (looks like she's got a bit of a trolling streak going on XD), and I'd like to give major props to Sarah Williams for getting the character and running with it. Kudos to Brandon who, while not a professional voice actor, fit into Iggy's shell like a pink floaty glove.
This is a comment I live for! I like to think I know my 'toons, but it's reassuring to hear it from others. Also, sorry for the late response, I tend to reply to the ones I like later; lets me reread them.

It's not often I get to hear people saying they have fun animating, so look like you'll be animating for a while, great to know!

Every time I draw something, I don't quite like how it comes out. I have such high standards for myself which gets pretty unhealthy. Trying to find a balance inbetween, y'know?
