Description
A short made for Albino Blacksheep's Tournament of Flash Artists (TOFA 2012).For every round, each contestant has only three weeks to make a cartoon from scratch that works around an assigned theme or challenge.
Round 3 Theme - Me, Myself and I
Challenge: Include a delivery of some sort.

"Round 3 is where I really started feeling the burn; the competition only got tougher, the challenges began to stack, and to top it all off, the gig I was doing at the same time was becoming more strenuous to manage.
I'll admit, Round 3 is where I got a little cocky; I took a huge risk on a dialogue-heavy cartoon and I forgot the point was to have plenty of animation. Still, I had a lot of fun writing it out and working with the voice actors. I think it's mostly thanks to them that I managed to score another win."

I'm astonished at the quality of this cartoon. I'm also astonished that you were able to hire a professional voice actress like Sarah Williams. (Both she and Brandon are great, BTW.) How did you manage it?

I have now fallen in love with Sarah N. Dippity. She's an AWESOME character! And coming from someone studying cartoons including the Looney Toons, I have to wonder where she's been?

Now when you ask where she's been you'll have to be more specific. I mean, I think she may have been to the moon once. She could be anywhere (if her role called for it)!

You're right; Tiny Toons was the show that differentiated and I keep refering back to it when I wasn't sure.
I was thinking more along the lines of, "Where have you been all my life?" type. I haven't seen a great deal on her, but its very clear she's extremely well-made and uniquely offset from mainstream cartoon characters; I could easily see her working with the Looney Tunes or the Disney anthro characters.

Shucks, that's good to hear! She's all over my gallery if you wanna see more. There's also a new cartoon coming in a few days if I work hard enough at it.
When I made her, there weren't a lot of funny or goofy female characters in cartoon. Most times you'd see a female lead reacting to something dumb a male lead did. With Sarah I intended to subvert that kinda thing. It make me pretty happy to hear that she feels so natural, though!

Yes! I mean I get paid for some of the things I do, so I suppose that's a yes. I'm barely making ends meet, but that's the price of doign your own thing. As for millionaire status... not even close. XD

Yeah! Same for any of the other three TOFA animations.
Though, the length is only due to how little animation there is, it's mostly dialogue.

Cool! I love them! And Sarah's voice sounds much better here than the first one. I mean, the first one was okay, but it sounded more like the voice actress was tryingΒ as opposed to it sounding natural.

Aw, well since it was for a tournament, copyrighted characters weren't allowed to be in the cartoon. However cameos from friends' characters was legit, so i did that. I also got a cameo of Lepy in there regardless.

Ah. That is understandable. I kinda forgot that detail. I tend to have that quirk to forget a detail or two in a conversation. I've been trying to cut that quirk out because it bugs me when I forget important details like that.
But anyway, the tournament sounds awesome! How did you do on it?
