Born outside, then raised within Vault 101, Dexter spent the first 19 years of his life not knowing much about the outside world. But when his father leaves the Vault a month after his nineteeth birthday, Dex must also escape the Vault to ensure his safety - now being thrust into the Wasteland he knew so little about.

But that was then. Now, four years after saving the Capital Wasteland, Dexter lives in the Mojave Wasteland, taking odd jobs and being a courier in the hopes it will allow him to reunite with his missing boyfriend. All that changes, however, when a delivery goes awry.

On one hand, he reunites with his lover. On the other, he's also just been shot in the head and is now missing what is probably his most important package.
