This is a redesign I made at the request of a friend.

This is important. What I am about to say is my friend's reason for this design of Amy, so if anyone is going to get upset, get angry at my friend, not me.

My friend's theory goes like this. He believes that the main reason why Amy is pretty much useless in the Sonic games is because she wears a dress. Now at first, this sounds very strange, but it actually makes some sense. Take a look at Blaze, she wears pants and she can fight just as well as Sonic. Blaze even goes so far as to have a super form. Amy can't do very much in comparison to Blaze. My friend also noticed that for some reason Sally (from the Archie comics and SATAM), only wears a vest and she can kick a lot of ass. She is pretty much the only girl character that gets away with it too. So my friend wanted to see what Amy would look like if she was just like the male Sonic characters, and that's where I came in.

As you can see, originally I was going to have her not wear anything, but that didn't feel right. I then gave her a vest just like Sally's. I think she actually looks much more capable now.

Oh, and I have a question for all of you. There is one part of her design that I haven't been able to decide on. As you can see, she has two hairstyles. Which one do you think is better? The Sonic-like spines? Or the bouffant that she uses now?
