Some of you may remember that I mentioned something about a Metroid comic that I wanted to work on. This is a little bit of concept art for that comic, should I ever produce it.--------------------------------------------------------------
Note: This is actually a suit that Retro Studios drafted up while they were making Metroid Prime 3. Check out the "Samus Concept Art" section and you'll find it there.

I was pretty disappointed that they didn't use this suit for anything, so I decided that I would use this suit should I ever make the comic.
I really like the shoulders in this design.

Oh yeah. The pic seems to have a conceptual feel to it overall, and that just reminded me of the concept galleries in the Prime series. Yeah. That rocked. And so does your pic.

Oh, you are conceptually welcome...if that makes any sense. I just thought I'd say something pun-ish. Pretty lame, but...yeah. You're welcome. Always lookin' for more Metroid fanart. Nintendo just doesn't give us what artists like you give. Pics of Samus in all her glory, as varied and deep as the hand that produced the pic in the first place. Yeah. Its that awesome.

Nah. I'm a Metroid fanatic. Overboard happened the first time I played a Metroid game. That was it for me. So now I'm a sucka for good Metroid art. Your pic was flawless. The end. Makes sense to me. I mean, take a look at it, its just that awesome.

I like the shoulder armor. For some reason though the upper chest armor sticks out just a tad bit in comparisson to her standard varia suit armor. Regardless, it's drawn very well.

Thanks. Most people seem to like the shoulders on this more than the tradital version. And I think they were trying to make the chest part look like a Chozo's face in this design.

If they were going for that, they should have made the chest more streamlined like the beak/face of the chozo.

I enjoy the way it looks myself. It looks like it can save her life when she's getting bashed around by huge alien beasts.
