Description
Because my gallery has suffered a serious lack of decrepit old cabooses for too long.I’m not normally what you’d call a fan of bay window cabooses, but wooden construction makes everything better. I’m not sure this will actually be an Eastern Railroad design— I just kinda slapped the Eastern name on it for the heck of it. It’s not even in Eastern colors. Unless I make these (alternate/later (?)) Eastern colors. Hm...

Don't do a GREEN caboose! This one will do nicely.

Well, I hadn't really planned on making any cabooses green, actually.

Dah.
I always loved seeing a caboose on a steam-hauled passenger/mixed train, ever since I first started on my IMAGINATIONS!

Amazing Design. I love old cabooses, and the bay windows mounted off center is an epic win idea.

Thanks! I'm looking forward your cabooses as well. (Especially considering that these "flattops" of yours are my truly favorite type.) And once again, I am credited for doing something I thought was totally normal... I thought MOST baywindows were off center... XD

Oh, and BTW, who knew cabooses are not only used on freight trains, but also on passenger trains anyways?
LOL
And besides, who would love to see a steam locomotive pulling a passenger consist with a caboose at the end?
LOL XD

Nonono, I don't want any Hudson. XD I'm just making fun of your "I want that thing but with so many changes that it isn't that thing anymore" comment.
But uh, actually, I'm a bit confused here. XD You'd like... a drawing of this car?

Yes.
I will make a list
White
C-3 for the Class
With the Trans Allied logo on it.
Ignore the request to make it
steel.
I think it loses its Character that way.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, it's not like a post-steam era road never owned a wooden caboose... [link]
You'll have to forgive me though... I really have no idea what Trans Allied is, let alone what its logo looks like...

Epic win as usual sir.
You should totally build this with the fish train. It would fit. Or I might steal it XD

Atticus-W In reply to simulatortrain [2010-10-02 00:30:38 +0000 UTC]
I might do that. The Eastern will definitely have a fleet of entirely cupola-less cabooses anyway, so these could hypothetically be... a related fleet of some sort. I was thinking that there could be a branchline where cars have to be switched under a particularly low-clearance industrial entrance or something, and these cabooses would be primarily assigned to that route. ‘Course, the smoke jack makes that excuse sound a little bit more dubious than it might otherwise...
(You can steal it if you want, anyway. )
