Description
My boyfriend showed me a painting in Robert Service's "Comrades! A History of World Communism" and I fell in love with the style, I just had to try to replicate it. The book does not list the original artist, and I've looked everywhere for him. If anyone recognizes it...I cannot claim this as my own, but as a tribute to an amazingly talented artist whose style I greatly admire. I think my version is fairly successful!

Congrats, this is great, I feel this is very hard to do with gouache, you are using bristle brushes for this?, and...what brand of gouache?.
Anyway I loved the impact of the color and the solid draw.
