Everytime I see one of your new JSR works I get that song from the ipod commercial with the people on skates stuck in my head.
That aside, I like this one. You really gave some cool life to Piranha. She looks great. Good color work and some really nice skin tones. Some mad props to nadienne for the request and more so to you for fulfilling the request in such a fine manner.

mmmm I dig the orange and green use on her, plus, big breasts + goggles for the win!!
Her face seems somewhat overly round, but other than that, I really like the shininess you used on the skin
and the zipper is so accurate! I too have large breasts, so there's a certain point where breasts will fight, and sometimes break, zippers! lol

I tried to get the shirt to look stressed, so thanks for noticing. ^^
it seems big breasts are a blessing and a curse then, especialy if they're breaking the zippers and buttons on your tops!

I usually get my stuff from the umm...(whatsitcalled) Salvation army. My parents like to not give me money, so I usually have to buy uber cheap things to have clothing at all ; haha
but yes, I can appreciate the real life boob physics going on in that picture, and itf anybody gives you a hardtime, I can prove that tis true. lol

some of my best clothes came from thrift stores actually. except my pants, I always have to get those new. my most recent favorite jacket was like 4 bucks from a thrift store.

I'd like to see you take a stab at some scenery works. I am doing the same thing, trying to improve that aspect
then you can put your awesome characters in some awesome scenery and be crowned King August. leader of the justice league

so you'll definitely see some full blown scenes from me in a little while
I doubt they'll be any good though. (I'm such a noob at perspective )

to me, the best laymans way of explaining perspective is 'connect the dots'
the main dot being the vanishing points and then all lines connect to it
you can mildly distort it for style but basically thats it
I need to do more myself...but I'm so caught up in 3D at the moment...making buildings and scenery - so fun

yeah that's pretty much what it is.
there's a few rules I'm not quite clear on yet though.
but I'm sure it'll only take a moment for me to get it straight.
3D's better than 2D these days, since it can emulate it so well. can't wait to see the scenery man!

I just couldn't figure out the modeling method that best suited me.
it seemed like nurbs were the way to go, until it seemed that there was no way to join seperate pieces.
converting them just made them too chaotic.
which method do you use? which app do you use?
another thing I couldn't figure out was what resolution I should create my textures at XD

Well I use Cinema4D...polygonal modelling
you use a hypernurb tag to make it smooth...just like layers in photoshop you can hide or show it
as far as textures its according to what ur doing
for games n stuff 512x512 is common use now days
but you can go way higher...according to how much you wanna show detail wise
it'll just lag your puter if you dont have a best if you get too high
most my textures run at the size I make my standard images...which range from 4000-8000 at 400dpi according to what I'm doing and the importance of that object

oh I see
so if you were to create an FMV you'd probably use a higher resolution then.
that makes sense.
some games are weird though, they'll have the texture at one resolution, and the bump map at a completely different resolution. which gives it a huge clash in model detail vs pixel detail. PN03 did that. (still a righteous game though)

Yup
different people use differnt methods
just like telling someone theres only one way to color a photoshop image...so many ways to do one thing
Some ways are more clearly concieved than others but hey...thats why theres no linear method to doing stuff
I've gotten away from the game texture modelling stuff though because pretty soon they'll be moving huge quality mesh around the screen so just model high poly stuff and I think you'd be set...at least thats what I tell myself. Therefor you'd have no conversion you'd have to put yourself through.. just model the hell outta something and make it look damn good
note me if you wanna discuss some goods with C4D...I can show you some links etc to some nice things that are dont with that application
not saying its better than max or may or any other top dog, its just a program I like using...and can provide some constructive information for ya
