Oboy, more WoW art! My undead mage, Carrefour, and the Headless Horseman's mount (my version of it, anyway), WHICH HE WILL NEVER POSSESS >:C But in my head he has it, as it's horribly fitting. He was a highwayman in life
I haven't done a full picture in traditional media in so long, and can I say? Drawing a horse and rider in full kit with a background was NOT the best way to break back into it!
Neither were watercolor pencils the media to choose for this piece. Looks okay IRL and as a thumbnail but the scan is horrid. It's hard to get the really dark-darks I had envisioned without everything getting muddy and poop.
Sooo it's a bit less AMG ominous and a bit more AMG surreal. Whatever. I'm sick of working on it D:

Do you ever use salt in your work?
In case ya don't know what I'm talking about, right AFTER you apply color and it's still wet, throw on some salt to where ya want. Let it dry. Then rub it off with a piece of paper or whatever. Makes great textures!

I've used it before but I haven't in the most recent pieces I've done. Most of my watercolor stuff of late is just pissing around, but I do want to try experimenting with salt and frisket and such.

Arrgh the squashling is the only thing I'm missing on my main and I never see it drop from the HH or the bags. I'm getting very frustrated.
Carre won't get the HH mount because he's currently level 40 and I'm too lazy to level him (I haaaate mages).
